Pakistani mullah's explain cause of flood

Pakistani mullah's explain cause of flood; It's the 'Ahmadis'
The Mullahs told their congregations that the reason they are being punished is due to the fact that "they left some Ahmadi-Muslims alive."

Pakistan has been hit by the worst flood it has ever had. The flood extends from the top of Pakistan in the Frontier, near Peshawar all the way down to the Punjab. The reason the flood has increased its devastation is due to the fact that the ocean level has risen, causing the outgoing rivers to reverse with incoming water.

Muslims believe in all the prophets of God, including the punishment given the people of Noah's time. Noah delivered his message to the people, but they told him that if he didn't stop preaching his message, they would kill him. At that point, Noah turned to God, in supplication and God decided to bring the flood.

As a Christian, growing up, I always used to start to worry if the rain lasted for very long.

Caliphatul Masih the IV once spoke on this topic to the Ahmadi-Muslims. "The flood did not cover the entire world," he said. "It covered one area," he clarified.

The flood, as a punishment, is recognized by Christians, Muslims and Jews, alike, so when the flood began, the Muslims must have questioned the Mullahs: "Why are we getting this punishment?"

The Mullahs, who ordered the young orphans to shoot the Ahmadi-Muslims at two different mosques during their Friday prayers in Lahore earlier this year, must have searched for an answer.

They could have said that "The message of the Promised Messiah is true and we shouldn't have shot them while they were praying," but I guess that is too much to hope for.

Instead, the Mullahs told their congregations that the reason they are being punished is due to the fact that "they left some Ahmadi-Muslims alive."

In case Christians are wondering if all Muslims are alike, I hope the above example illustrates that there is a world of difference between Ahmadi-Muslims and other sects of Islam.

For example, the Ahmadi-Muslims never took revenge for the massacres in Lahore. Not one death is reported in Pakistan. The caliph, in his sermon after the attacks on Lahore, urged all Ahmadis not to retaliate. All the Ahmadis obeyed his request even though some families lost more than one member that day.

To underline the difference between Ahmadi-Muslims and the other sects, the Ahmadi Muslim Community is sending three different kits to help the flood victims in Pakistan. One man told a reporter "the government hasn't helped us much, but the Mirzi (the people of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) have helped us a lot."

If Christians are confused by the difference in Muslims, it is quite understandable. When a prophet of God spreads the message to worship God, some people follow and the rest of the people revile them. When Jesus came, the Jews did not accept the prophethood of Jesus. When Muhamed came, many Christians did not accept his prophethood. When the Promised Messiah came, three hundred men accepted him, but the rest of the Muslims rejected his status as a prophet.

"God has a plan for the world," Ghayyur Khan explained to me. "The world does not want to follow that path, so the world will suffer because of it."

Accepting the prophet of the time is incumbent upon every person, no matter what religion they belong to. If you don't believe me, ask yourself, why would our gracious and merciful God put us through such trials--for no reason? There has to be a higher purpose in the increase in all the disasters the world is experiencing.
